For those interested, I have a new widget image, and I wanted to share an update regarding free book reviews.
I am still accepting books for review; however, due to time constraints, prior commitments, and my paid work, I will have to be very selective as to which books I pick. I’m booked well into next year, so if your project doesn’t spark my interest or appeal to my personal taste (or can’t wait that long), I’ll probably have to pass.
For those who have already sent their book to me to be read–I appreciate your on-going patience. Again, my free time just isn’t as much a part of my life as it had been earlier this year, so it’s taking me longer to get through any “reading for pleasure,” including reviews.
However, if you are interested in a coaching report (a one-time response rather than line-by-line feedback, much as you would get from a book review but longer and more detailed), I am still accepting coaching clients. For $25-$45 (depending on length), I’ll read your novel and write up a 5-10 page response. The first chapter is free, so you can definitely try it without any further commitment, and you can learn more details about the coaching process here.
As always, I love working with writers and authors of all walks and levels of experience, and I wish I had more time, but I’m trying to not overbook myself to where reviews run 5-6 months behind (as is currently the case).
All the best,
Andrea
I would be delighted to have you review my novel, and I am not in any great rush. It was just published in May and I can wait, but don’t know how to get it to you. Let me know. If you would like a preview, the first few chapters are readable on Amazon.com: “Tell It Abroad” by Glen Moyer. If it is not a genre you want to read all of, just let me know and I will forget it. If you want to read it all, let me know how to get it to you and when you fit it into your schedule will be just fine.

You can read more about submitting a book for a free review here: https://andrealundgren.com/book-reviews/book-review-submission-guidelines/
But you should be forewarned, my reviews are currently booked out about 2 years in advance. They may move faster than that, but I make no guarantees. 🙂

Love this new widget thanks so much! Just posted on the sidebar 🙂 Would it be helpful to ‘book’ for a coaching report ahead of time? (Eg: if we anticipate to finish writing something by Feb 2018, and arrange now for the coaching job to be done then?)

It always helps to have a heads’ up, but coaching isn’t scheduled out nearly as far as the free reviews. One month or so warning is usually plenty of time to get on the schedule. 🙂
